Jimmie Carole Anderson

Jimmie Carole Anderson, 77, of Albany passed away Friday August 21, 2009 at Palmyra Nursing Home. Funeral services honoring the life of Mrs. Anderson will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 24, 2009 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Red Oak Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Smith and Rev. Keith Smith officiating. Jimmie Carole Anderson was born July 23, 1932 to the late Elvis Karr and Murl Lewis Karr. A native of Bristow, OK she had lived in Albany since 1968. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Pine Bluff Baptist Church. She was retired as an office manager of Albany Telephone Answering Service, later known as Denson Enterprises from 1969-2007. In addition to her parents Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. ldquo;Andyrdquo; Anderson; sister, Johnnie Stephens; brother-in-law, Ralph Stephens and nephew, Raughn Stephens. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Murl Bass and her husband, Brownie Bass of Albany; granddaughter, Lauren Bass; grandsons, Brian Bass and Richard ldquo;Andyrdquo; Bass of Albany; 1 great-grandchild, Clinton Bass of Albany; step-son, Robert Anderson of Nebraska; niece, Maryann Willett of Rice, TX; nephew, Lance Stephens of Grapevine, TX and several great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
