John Robert Lund

Mr. John Robert Lund, 63, of Albany, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 19, 2010 in the Chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Robin Chaplin officiating. Interment will follow in the Story-Odom Cemetery in Warwick . Mr. Lund was born June 12, 1947 in Grand Forks, ND to Kenneth LeRoy Lund and Lucille Peak Rogers. He was owner and operator of Johnrsquo;s Auto Repair for over twenty-five years. He enjoyed working in his greenhouse and being with his family and friends. John was known to be a fair and honest person who was friendly to everyone. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth LeRoy Lund. Survivors include his two sons, Mark (Crystal) Lund of Albany and Brian Lund of Minneapolis, MN; mother, Lucille Peak Rogers; sisters, Margaret ldquo;Peggyrdquo; Lund of Albany and Nancy (Les) Marcot of East Grand Forks, MN; brother, Richard (Joann) Lund of Sioux Falls, SD; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. The family will receive friendsnbsp;Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
