Mr. John “Buddy” Sadler, Jr., 90, of Albany, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home in Pelham. Funeral services will be conducted at 11: 00 a.m., Thursday, February 9, 2017 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Bro. Roy Bradshaw will officiate and provide music. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. Born July 27, 1926 in Pelham, Mr. Sadler was the son of the late John Sadler, Sr. and Margaret Sadler. He served his country in the United States Navy and retired as an auto parts delivery driver. He enjoyed fishing, watching westerns, but more than anything he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Sadler was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Flowers Sadler; children, Bobby Dean Sadler, Larry Sadler and Ronald Sadler and granddaughter, Katrina Sadler. Survivors include his children, John Thomas Sadler and Barbara of Panama City, FL, Steve Sadler and Barbara of Sylvester, Billy Sadler and Willie of Leesburg, Gene Sadler and Dot of Putney, Ann Worley of Chipley, FL, Danny Sadler and Becky of Cordele and Donald Ray Sadler of Pensacola, FL; 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.hallandhallfuneralhome.com.
