Johnny Olin Ingram

Johnny Olin Ingram, 59, of Albany passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 15, 2010 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. The Reverend Bobby Moye will officiate with interment to follow at Floral Memory Gardens in Albany. Born September 15, 1951 in Kellogg , MI , Mr. Ingram was the son of the late James Walter Ingram and Joann Willis Ingram. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia and lived most of his life in Albany . He was an avid golfer and enjoyed all sports. Mr. Ingram enjoyed working with wood and was a wonderful son; husband, brother, uncle and friend. Survivors include his wife, Gail Ingram of Albany ; brother, Gregory Ingram and wife, Donna of Putney; stepdaughter, Marissa Hargrove and husband, Eddie of Putney; stepson, Jay Norris and wife, Vanessa of San Diego, CA. sister-in-law, Carol Ingram of Albany ; many aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ingram was preceded in death by his brother, James “Butch” Ingram and sister, Cynthia Jill Gotfredson. The family would like to give a heart felt thank you to the Albany Community Hospice who so lovingly cared for John and his family. In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to the Willson Hospice House at 320 Foundation Lane Albany Georgia 31707. The family will receive friends today from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
