Joseph Stanley 'Stan ' Shores

Mr. Joseph “Stan” Shores, 65, of Albany, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 22, 2016 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Rev. Keith Smith will officiate with interment to follow at Floral Memory Gardens. Born August 8, 1950 in Barwick, Mr. Shores served his country in the Air Force and worked for many years with Georgia Power. He was of the Baptist faith. Stan was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Shores and his sister, Darlene Baker. Survivors include his mother, Maelene Ansley Shores of Albany; children, Sean Shores, Jacob Shores, Sarah Shores and Stephen Shores all of Albany; sisters, Sandra (George) Jones of Albany, Kathy (Lyle) Learn of Albany, Stacy (Travis) Golden of Leesburg; brother, Gary (Diane) Shores of Dawson and 1 grandchild, Gretchen Shores.
