Mrs. Judith "Judy" Ann Calhoun Phillips, 78, of Sylvester, peacefully passed away and went home to be with Jesus, on Thursday, November 18, 2021. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 20, 2021, in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Bingham and Rev. Matthew Schluckebier officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service. Mrs. Phillips will be laid to rest on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Temple Hill Memorial Park, in Castlewood, VA. Born July 4, 1943, in St. Paul, Missouri, Mrs. Phillips was a loving Christian woman who loved God and her family more than anything. She was a faithful member of Eighth Avenue Church of God for years where she and her late husband were delighted to oversee the bus ministry. She continued to be faithful through the years at East Albany Church of God and later Liberty Parkway Church of God currently Life Church in Leesburg. She worked in management for years in retail, owned and operated an ice cream truck for many years where she saw many smiling faces. She also liked canning and cooking for her family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Edwin Phillips who passed away on December 19, 2016. Survivors include her children, Angel Erickson (Fuad) of Sylvester, Lawrence Phillips of Navarre, Ohio, Misty Schmidt (Norman) of Albany, Amber Charlton (Aaron) of Sylvester, and Micaih Ruiz (Luis) of Lawrenceville; 1 brother, Bimbo Calhoun of Charleston, South Carolina; 12 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
