Judith Matthews Bryan

Mrs. Judith Matthews Bryan, 74, of Albany, peacefully passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019, at the Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 17, 2019, at Moringside United Methodist Church with Rev. Anna Miller officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:30 until the funeral hour at the church. Mrs. Bryan will be laid to rest on Monday, March 18, at 10:00 a.m. at Floral Memory Gardens. Born September 24, 1944, in Moultrie, Mrs. Bryan was the daughter of the late, Dorsey and Elizabeth Taylor Matthews. She sold Avon for over 30 years, volunteered at Mock Road Elementary and was a faithful member of Moringside United Methodist Church since 1969. Survivors include her children, Christy Montgomery (Jason) of Leesburg and Russell Bryan of Albany; two grandchildren, Rachel Montgomery and Cameron Schultz; sister, Melanie Matthews Scarborough of Covington; and two brothers, Lawton Matthews and Hugh Matthews both of Moultrie.
