Junius Furman

Mr. Junius Furman, 71, of Dawson, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021, at Dawson Manor. Born February 27, 1950, in Portsmouth, Virginia, Mr. Furman was the son of the late Junius and Edna Falk Furman. He retired from Procter and Gamble, enjoyed gardening, drinking craft beer and playing guitar. He loved his family dearly and his happiness was found in them. He will be greatly missed by them all. In addition to his parents, Mr. Furman was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gayle Derks Furman and his grandson, Davis Furman. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, David and Lisa Furman of Albany and grandson, Lee Furman of Albany. In accordance to Mr. Furman’s wishes his remains will be cremated and services will be private. Hall and Hall Funeral Home has been given the honor to serve the Furman family.
