Kalvin D. “Dale” Hubbard, 54, of Mitchell County, left his earthly family behind to be with his Lord on Monday, April 29, 2019. A joint memorial service honoring the life of Dale and his son Wesley who both passed away due to injuries sustained in a car accident, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Dale was born in Albany on May 29, 1964 to the late Lawrence and Shirley Hubbard. He worked as an electrician by trade and when he wasn’t working, could be found outside. Dale was an avid lover of the outdoors, a huge hunting fanatic, liked to go camping, and loved to fish. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. At Dale’s request, the family asks that everyone either wear camouflage or Georgia Football attire to the services. Along with his parents, and siblings, he is preceded in death by his beloved son Wesley. Dale is survived by his devoted wife, Cathy Hubbard; his sons, Brad Leeson, Levi Leeson (Heather), and Ethan Hubbard; grandchildren, Devin, Eli, and Gabe; church family, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
