Leonard Lee Sr

Mr. Leonard Smith Lee, Sr., 70, of Albany passed away, Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at his home. Services honoring the life of Mr. Lee will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Sylvester Church of Christ. Born March 4, 1941 in Andrews, South Carolina, Mr. Lee was the son of the late Elbert Smith lee, Sr. and Ethel Guy Lee. He worked for many years as a carpenter and was known as a simple man who love his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lamar and Bobby Lee; sister, Yvonne Junker; and half sister, Elizabeth Reaves. Survivors includes his loving wife, Vivian Lee; sons, Leonard Lee, Jr. and his wife, Joy of Sylvester and Jonathan Lee of Albany; sister, Elise Routt; half brother, Carlos Lee and wife, Kathy; half sister, Judy Moore and husband, Hayward; grandchidern; great-grandchildren and a large extended family. The family will receive friends following the service at Sylvester Church of Christ on Saturday, June 11th.
