Leonard Michael Dyal

Mr. Leonard Michael Dyal, 61, of Leesburg, passed away in the early morning hours of June 3, 2022, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2022, in the Chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Born February 19, 1961, in Waycross, he was the son of the late Leonard Blanchard Crawford and Laura Wynell Tillman Dyal. Mr. Dyal was known as a hard worker. He spent 13 years employed at Bob’s Candy and was currently on his 17th year at Tyson where he was a dedicated maintenance manager. He was well respected and could fix just about anything. He loved working on cars, collecting and shooting his guns, but most of all loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Deen. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Nancy Blevins (Larry) of Fredericksburg, VA, Kansas Seek of Elba, AL, and Leonard Blanchard Dyal (Connie) of Leesburg; seven grandchildren, Vanessa, Larry III, Ciaran, Allison, Eithan, Havanna, and Gavin; his sisters, Kim Strickland and Jill Hall (Buddy) both of Waycross, Sheila Davis of Monroe, and Lynne Nettles of Brunswick; brothers, Leonard Crawford of Kingsland, Paul Crawford of Covington, and Keith Crawford of Alaska; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends who loved him dearly.
