Mrs. Lila Vanzant, 83, of Warner Robins and formerly of Albany, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 17, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 19, 2011 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Reverend Johnnie Farr will officiate and interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery. Lila Folds Vanzant was born on July 11, 1927 in Genoa, FL. to the late Alexander Eric Folds and Mary Elizabeth Hutchinson Folds. Mrs. Vanzant loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart and allowed this to be seen by the way she lived. She was a member of the Church of God. She had a special love for her grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all her loving family. In addition to her parents, her husband, Fulton Ira Vanzant and her son, Leary Wade Vanzant, preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons and a daughter-in-law, Fulton Lamar Vanzant of Albany, Gerarld Don Vanzant, Sr. of Warner Robins and Wallace T. Vanzant and wife, Charlotte of Albany; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
