Lillie Hammack Hathcock

Mrs. Lille Hammack Hathcock, 94, of Lawrenceville and formerly of Albany, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018. Born July 21, 1923 in Albany, Mrs. Hathcock was the daughter of the late John Bernard Hammack and Ellie Nora Corley Hammack. She worked for Moree Packing Company as an office manager and for Goodyear. She was a faithful member for many years at Faith Baptist Church of Albany where she loved to sing in the choir. She was currently a member of Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula, Georgia. She was a faithful follower in Christ and inspired so many others by the life she lived. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hathcock was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie M. Hathcock. Her memory will forever be cherished by her children, Harrison Wayne Hathcock of Albany, Sarah Elizabeth White (Tony) of Lawrenceville; 2 grandchildren, Paula Tyson (Bobby) of Dacula and Paul Cole (Wendy) of Flowery Branch and 4 great-grandchildren, Jacob, Lillie, Claire and Maggie. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 4, 2018 at Faith Baptist Church of Albany with the Rev. Jerry Dean officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Following the services, she will be laid to rest beside her husband in Floral Memory Gardens.
