Linda Barrett Williams

Mrs. Linda Barrett Williams, 82, of Oakfield, peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 23, 2021, at the Oakfield Baptist Church Cemetery, in Oakfield. The family will visit with friends following the service at the cemetery. Born on July 4, 1939, in Manila, Arkansas, Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late Earnest and Velva Harmon Barrett. She was a homemaker most of her life where she loved to cook and bake for her family. She also loved painting, shopping and spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith and will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Thomas Williams. Survivors include her children, Randy and Crystal Morris of Oklahoma, Carey “Red” and Kay Morris of Oakfield, Michael and Barbara Morris of Oakfield, step-children, Teresa and Danny Harrington of Arkansas, Tina Statler of Arkansas, and Robin and Jerry Rogers of Arkansas; sisters Peggy Choate (Bob) of Indiana and Beulah “Bootie” Woodruff (Gerald) of Arkansas; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nephews, niece, and great-nieces and nephews.
