Linda Joleen Price

Mrs. Linda Joleen Price, 75, of Albany, peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2020, at PruittHealth-Palmyra Nursing Home. Mrs. Price will lie in state on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Hall & Hall Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for family and friends to pay their respects. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Floral Memory Gardens with Pastor Terry Siniard officiating. Joleen was born November 11, 1945, in Miller County to the late Andrew and Lilla Mae Bailey. She spent her years as a homemaker caring for her family and home. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Mercedes Baptist Church of Albany. In her free time she enjoyed painting, puzzles, cooking for her family, and doing her bible study. Above all, she loved the Lord and spending time with her grandchildren. When she was able, she spent time volunteering at her church and at the SOWEGA Council on Aging. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Andrew Price; and her siblings, Jerry Bailey, Louise Doyle, and Colon Bailey. Survivors include her beloved husband of 56 years, Samuel Price of Albany; two sons, Steve Price of Albany, and Duwain Price and his wife Pamela of Kathleen; three grandchildren, Rebekah Price, Alexis Price, and Stevy Price; brother, Brodus Bailey and his wife Judy and sister, Janice Paige.
