Linda Marg (Walker ) Young

Mrs. Linda Young, 66, of Baconton, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Phoebe Sumter Hospital in Americus. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Unity Baptist Church in Sylvester. Born June 11, 1949 in Tifton, Mrs. Young was the daughter of the late Julian Walker and Faye Erskine Walker Pope. She was a loving homemaker and her family was her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her children, Denise Crews of Baconton, Lamar Young and Shanna of Sylvester and Floyd Young of Albany; grandchildren, NeCole, Kayla, and Jerry Crews, Jimmy Barfield, Kye Plank, Christen Williams, Dakota and Destiny Young, Cil Harper and Anna Knowles and others she claimed and loved; 8 great-grandchildren with one on the way and others she claimed and loved; her brothers, Larry Walker and Janice of Alapaha, GA, LaVon Walker of New York and Ricky Walker and Debbie of Colorado.
