Lloyd Junior Lawson

Mr. Lloyd Junior Lawson, 75, of Albany, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018, at his home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at Oak Grove Cemetery in Americus on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. Born April 17, 1943 in Morgantown, WV, Mr. Lawson was the son of the late Alonzo and Mable Self Lawson. He served his country in the United States Army, loved his family and was of The Church of God faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Winona Hart Lawson. Survivors include his children, David Lloyd Lawson (Michelle) of Albany, Valerie Lawson of Longview, TX and Johnnie Phillips of Kentucky; siblings, Paul, Junior, Bernis, May, Charles, Linda, Skip, Judy, Loretta, Lonnie, David and Michael; 2 grandchildren, Clay and Kaitlyn Lawson of Poulan and one other in Texas and 2 great-grandchildren.
