Lois Spring Smith, 82, of Leesburg, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 15, 2011. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 17, 2011 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Reverend Chris E. Turner and Reverend Joseph W. Jones will officiate. Interment will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery. Born August 8, 1928 in Worth County, Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late Arthur I. Gray and Frances Gay Gray. She worked for many years at Lykes and was Baptist by faith. She will be remembered as a loving mother grandmother, sister and friend that loved everyone. Surely our loss is heavens gain. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her first husband, Otis Spring; second husband, Charles Smith; brother, Welton Gray; sisters, Lenora Wood and Mrytice Spring. Survivors include her children, Phillip Spring and wife, Paula of Albany, Diane LaSalle and husband, Tony of Albany, Deborah Willoughby of Albany and Patricia Delk and boyfriend, Mike Lawson of Sylvester; sisters, Helen Sessions of Birmingham, AL and Carolyn Crew and husband, Russell of Sylvester; 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 16, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
