Lucille Rogers

Mrs. Lucile Peake Rogers, 87, of Leesburg, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Willson Hospice House in Albany. Born June 10, 1928 in Kershaw County, S.C., Mrs. Rogers was the daughter of the late J. T. and Alberta Medlin Peake. She was a loving homemaker who loved her family. She enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening and loved animals. Survivors include her daughters, Margaret Lund of Leesburg and Nancy (Lester) Marcott of E. Grand Fork Minnesota; son, Richard (JoAnn) Lund of Oregon; grandson and wife, Mark and Crystal Lund of Albany and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her son, John Lund. At the request of Mrs. Rogers her remains have been cremated.
