Lynda Cecilia (Williams ) Kirkland

Mrs. Lynda Cecilia Kirkland, 68, of Albany, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, July 23, 2018 at Cool Springs Church Cemetery in Sale City. Rev. Robin Chaplin will officiate. Born July 9, 1950 in Colquitt County, Mrs. Kirkland was the daughter of the late Cecil and Myrl Hart Williams. She worked as a broker and in accounting for many years. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her beloved family that she adored. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kirkland was preceded in death by her first husband, William Dennis Lunsford; daughter, Kristy Lunsford and brother, Morris Williams. Survivors include her husband, Gary Kirkland; children, Angela Wright (Dennis) and Richie Wallace (Allison) all of Albany; 6 grandchildren, Kristen, Trey, Peyton, Ethan, Gracie and Cole; 1 great-grandchild, Kensi; her sisters, Ann Carter of Leesburg and Betty Bennett of Albany and several nieces and nephews.
