Mary Alice Lee

September 14, 1935 — March 21, 2024

Mrs. Mary Alice Lee, 88, of Albany, peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Willson Hospice House.


Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, March 25, 2024, in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home with visitation one hour before the service. Bro. Alphonso Carson will officiate with interment to follow in Floral Memory Gardens.


Born on September 14, 1935, in Hemingway, S.C., Mary was the daughter of the late Albert and Kathryn Tilton. She was a loving and caring Homemaker and one of Jehovah’s Witnesses faithful members. She enjoyed gardening and will be greatly missed.


In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Calhoun Lee and her son, Melvin Travis Lee.


Survivors include her children, Mary Jane Basko, Dorothy Sue Levalley, Dean Elizabeth Freeman, Marvin Louis Lee, and Martin Gary Lee; grandchildren, Steven Gene Lothridge, Kevin Lee Wilkinson, Cary Lynn Wilkinson, Jeffrey Scott Lee, Samuel Louis Lee, Matthew Gary Lee; and 8 great grandchildren.
