Mary Darlene Jackson

Ms. Mary Darlene Jackson, 57, of Sylvester, peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. A private service will be held by the family at a later date. Born September 23, 1963 in New Port News, VA, Mrs. Mary Darlene Jackson spent her days painting, spending time with her grandchildren, watching Days of Our Lives and talking on the phone. She was employed at K-Mart where she was often remembered by her smile and kind spirit. She is preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Hogge. Survivors include her father, Robert Hogge; children Johnny McDonald (Brittany) of Sylvester, Dorothy Jefferson (Michael) of Albany; sister, Michelle Hogge of Albany; brothers, Frankie Hogge of Sylvester, Eddie Hogge of Virginia and 8 grandchildren who loved her dearly. Hall and Hall Funeral Home of Albany has been given the honor to serve the Jackson family.
