Mary (Dooley) Myers

Mrs. Mary B. Myers, 86, of Albany, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Andersonville National Cemetery. Reverend Bobby Harrell will officiate. Born November 13, 1925 in Sipsey, Alabama, Mrs. Myers was the daughter of the late G.W. Dooley and Lula Buzbee Dooley. She spent her life as a wife and mother and a devoted member of Sunnyside Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Myers, was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Royce D. Myers, sister, Loraine Naramore; brothers, Chester Dooley, Clarence Dooley and Dixie Dooley. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Carol Myers of Panama City, FL, John Timothy and Sandra Myers, Gregory and Melissa Myers, Tony Eugene and Lisa Myers all of Albany; eight grandchildren, Joseph, Chanse, Brett Matthew, Ashley, Nicholas, Tyler, and Daniel; four great-grandchildren, Johnathan, Emma, Ethan and Camilla; and sisters, Ruth Wright, Pauline Baughn and Sue Pesnell. The family will receive friends following the service at Andersonville National Cemetery.
