Mary Fore

Mary Tissue Fore, 75, of Conway, S.C, passed away Monday, August 24, 2009 at Conway Medical Center. Graveside Services honoring the life of Mrs. Fore will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Leesburg Cemetery. Mary Tissue Fore was born March 21, 1934 in Sumter County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Joe Franklin and Mattie Jane Tissue. She was also predeceased by her husband, William Starling Fore Jr; her son, George Calvin Fore; two sisters, Jane Wise and Lou Elva Smith.Mrs. Fore was of the Baptist faith. Mary enjoyed working with flowers of any kind. She loved her family very much.Mary is survived by four daughters, Betty Ann Kelly (Randy) of Galivants Ferry, Kathy Martin (George) of Conway, Connie Willis (Gary) of GA, and Mary Brillante (Sonny) of FL; one son, William Steven Fore (Patricia) of GA; George Calvin Fore’s daughters, Lydia Ann Fore of Myrtle Beach and Franciner Georgette Young (Ben) of GA; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren and many other family and friends who will miss her.
