Maxine Kimble

Mrs. Maxine June Kimble, 90, of Albany, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 18, 2016 at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Dawson. Rev. Robin Chaplin will officiate. Born June 24, 1925 in Nebraska, Mrs. Kimble was the daughter of the late Leslie and Lillian Tatum Walgren. She was a loving homemaker and enjoyed crocheting. She was of the Baptist faith and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kimble was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marvin Kimble. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Lee Kimble of Leesburg, Ken and Jutta VanMatre of Tifton and Dennis and Joyce VanMatre of Albany; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Rick Harris of Jackson; grandchildren, Richie, Randy, Melissa, Melodi, Jerry, Tracie and Jamie and twenty –one great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
