Michael C. Mccubbins

Mr. Michael Craig McCubbins, 63, of Putney, passed away, Friday, December 18, 2009 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 21, 2009 at 2:00 p.m., at Bible Baptist Church. Mr. McCubbins Body will be placed in the Church one hour before the service. Reverend Robin Chaplin and Reverend Lester Allen will officiate with interment to follow in Poulan Cemetery. Michael Craig McCubbins was born March 13, 1946, son of the late Bud McCubbins and Ida Sara Dubin McCubbins. He was a veteran in the United States Marine Corps and served his country in the Vietnam War. Mr. McCubbins worked in materials handling for Clarklift of Albany and the Mouat Company. He attended Bible Baptist Church and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. In addition to his parents, his brother, Thomas McCubbins, preceded Michael in death. Survivors include his loving wife of forty-two years, Tina McCubbins of Putney; his four children, Tim Osteen and his wife, Jennifer of Abbeville, AL, Doug Osteen and his wife, Jeanette of Lee County, Sara Lynn Stegemiller and her husband, Ron of Putney and Lisa Benson of Putney; brother, Jerry L. Dubin of South Bend, IN; 11 grandchildren, Holly Osteen, Nicky and Emma Stegemiller, Jonathan and Alexus Osteen, Bradley, DJ and Katie Benson, Josh DeVane, Jerica and Chase Etheridge. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., Sunday, December 20, 2009nbsp;at Hall and Hall Funeral Home. nbsp;
