Michael Kierce Sr

Mr. Michael Dewitt Kierce, Sr. 53, of Albany, passed away, Monday, January 05, 2015 at Cordele Health and Rehabilitation. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Floral Memory Gardens. Rev. Chris E. Turner will officiate. Born November 4, 1961 in Moultrie, Michael was the son of the late Lewin Kierce and Sula Pearl Terrell Waldorf. He had worked as a master electrician for Watkins Electric and was Baptist by faith. Survivors include his son, Michael Kierce of Leesburg; daughter, Morgan Kierce of Leesburg; sister and brother-in-law, Ranee and Travis Johnson Sr. of Sylvester; two nephews, T.J. and Nick Johnson both of Sylvester. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that contributions be made to the funeral home to help cover funeral expenses. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Tuesday, January 6, 2014 at Hall and Hall Funeral Home. The family will be at the home of Ranee and Travis Johnson at 319 Redrock Rd. Sylvester, GA. 31791. Hall and Hall Funeral Home has been entrusted to care for the Kierce family.
