Mr. Micheal Eugene Farmer, 70, of Sylvester, passed away Monday, May 6, 2019, at his home. Services honoring the life of Mr. Farmer will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2019, in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends following the service. Born August 15, 1948, in Camilla, Mr. Farmer was the son of the late Henry “Pete” Lewis Farmer and Sara Worsham Farmer. He proudly served his country in the United Sates Navy and retired from Merck and Company with 30 years of service. After his retirement he owned his own trucking company, enjoyed motorcycles, muscle cars, and traveling. He was a charter member of First Baptist Church of Putney. Survivors include his children, Micheal Paul Farmer of Albany, Misty (Daniel) Ham of Macon and Shalara (Jeff) Brown of Atlanta; brother, Timothy (Trish) Farmer of Sylvester; 7 grandchildren, Ivie, EnRique, Mason, Logan, Aiden, Lucus, and Tristan; uncle, Joe (Sharron) Farmer; several nieces and nephews and the mothers of his children, Deborah Simpson of Albany and Georgia Rutland of Warner Robins.
