Myrtle Lucretia (Sellers) Kimbrel

Mrs. Myrtle Lucretia Kimbrel, 81, of Albany passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 3, 2013 in the Chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Rev. Leigh Ann Raynor and Rev. William Collins will officiate. Born February 2, 1932, in Thomasville, Mrs. Kimbrel was the daughter of the late George W. Sellers and the late Alma Ragan Sellers. She worked for many years with Gargano’s East, enjoyed flowers and loved her family. She attended East Albany Church of God. Survivors include her husband, Frank A. Kimbrel of Albany; sons, Dennis J. Smith of Donalsonville, Markus W. Smith of Albany, and Anthony C. Smith of Perry; daughters, J. Yvonne Matthews of Augusta and Cindy R. and Leonard Thomas of Leesburg; brother, Douglas Sellers of Mayo, FL; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
