Nancy Wonnie Barnes

Nancy Lou Wonnie Thomas Barnes, passed away December 13, 2018, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. She was born in Coffee County, Georgia February 6, 1941 to Early and Lila Thomas. Wonnie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Barnes; a son, Jeffery Barnes; one daughter-in-law, Bonnie Barnes; two brothers, D.C. Thomas and Jimmy Ray Thomas; two sisters-in-law, Juanita Thomas and Gladys Thomas; and one brother-in-law, Cecil Conner. She is survived by a son, Terry Barnes (wife Linda); a daughter-in-law, Judy Barnes; nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, two sisters, Lollie Mae Conner and Mary Jo Worth (husband Junior); one sister-in-law, Ruth Thomas; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Mount Green Church of God of Prophecy (Millwood, Georgia) on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
