Mr. Ottis Ray Heath, 74, of Leesburg, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 22, 2017 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Rev. Robin Chaplin will officiate with interment to follow at Floral Memory Gardens with military honors. Born May 14, 1942 in Greenville, NC, Mr. Heath was the son of the late Guy and Viola Heath. He served in The United States Marine Corps and retired as a supervisor with Spirit Construction Services. He enjoyed spending time with his family and liked to go fishing. He also enjoyed singing and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Linda Horne Heath of Leesburg; children, Anthony Heath and Rochelle and Omar Olivera all of Greenville, NC, Brian Gardner of Leesburg and Jill Gardner Morgan and Robbie of Albany; 1 brother, Guy; 4 sisters, Irene, Connie, Patricia and Elaine; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.hallandhallfuneralhome.com.
