Patricia Marie (Mercer) Buchannon

Mrs. Patricia M. (Giddy) Buchannon, 68, of Albany, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Born November 5, 1942 to the late John and Kay Gould Mercer in Pontiac, MI, she worked for ten years with Winn Dixie and twenty-two years for Harvey’s in the Deli Departments where she was know as “Grandma Pat”. Along with her parents she preceded in death by her husband Harold Buchannon. Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-laws, Christopher (Gail) Trusow of NE, Brian (Gina) Trusow of Sylvester, and Kelly (Pam) Trusow of AZ; her sister, Jeanette McCleary of MI; and eleven grandchildren.
