Rev. Oscar Leon Easterling, Sr., 63, of Enigma and formerly of Albany, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. A celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 p.m., June 30, 2018 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Fulford, Rev. Penny Spence and Rev. Willow Jenkins will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service. Born February 15, 1955 in Mississippi, Rev. Easterling was the son of the late, Oscar and Mae Broome Easterling. He was an ordained minister for over 30 years having evangelized and lovingly shared the gospel. He loved music and played the bass guitar and drums for The Lord. His love for God and his family was most important and he will be greatly missed. Survivors include his wife, Rev. Judy Easterling; children, Oscar Leon Easterling, Jr. of Albany, Stephanie Naomi McMillan of Bainbridge and Timothy James Easterling of Enigma; brother, Roger Dale Easterling (Frances) of Albany; sister, Doris Lynette Grimsley of Pelham; 7 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
