Mr. Richard Deryle Dickerson, 63, of Baconton, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at his home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, July 14, 2017 at Kimball Cemetery in Anderson City. Rev. Matthew Stone will officiate. Born October 24, 1953 in Moultrie, Ricky was the son of the late Daniel and Lula Mae Blackburn Dickerson. He retired from Procter and Gamble and enjoyed watching older black and white television shows. He also enjoyed playing cards and cooking. He was of The Christian faith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dickerson was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Karen Francis Dickerson and brothers, Cecil and Bobby Dickerson. Survivors include his children, Chris and Suzannah Ray of Tallahassee, FL, Bubba Dickerson and Deanna Ray of Perry, FL; sisters, Charlotte Stone of Putney, Jean Jarrell of Putney, Tammy Leggin of Columbus and Margie Dickerson Hatcher of Worth County; brother, Donnie Dickerson of Baconton; 2 grandchildren, Deven Heard and Harli Ray; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the funeral home. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.hallandhallfuneralhome.com.
