Robert Edward Hogge, Sr.

Mr. Robert Edward Hogge, Sr., 86, of Sylvester, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

Born on May 10, 1938, in Gloucester , VA, Mr. Robert was the son of the late Norman and Alberta Newton Hogge. He served his country in The United States Air Force and worked for many years with Wells Aluminum of Moultrie. He enjoyed racing and his favorite was Tony Stewart. He loved God, Family, and Country most of all and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janita Hogge; second wife, Teresa Nix; children, Mary Darlene Jackson, Norman Franklin Hogge, Sr., and Michelle Renee Hogge; and siblings, Wayne, Alan, Nathan, Rheba, and Rachel.

Survivors include his son, Robert “Eddie” Hogge, Jr. of Newport News VA, grandchildren, Dorothy Jefferson and Michael of Albany, Johnny McDonald and Brittany of Sylvester, and Norman Hogge and Kimberly of Sylvester; several great-grandchildren; and his aunt, Virginia Gnatowsky.
