Ronnie Richard Paige

Mr. Ronnie Paige, 67, of Albany, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, April 25, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Plantation Parkway Assembly of God. Reverend Craig Howell will officiate with interment to follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery. Matt Carroll, Calvin Sterling, Dennis Eldridge, Jeffrey Smith, Gary Stutz and Bob Breton will serve as active pallbearers and Gary Williams and John Daniels will serve as honorary pallbearers. Born July 1, 1945 in Moultrie, Mr. Paige was the son of the late Lester Alvin Paige and the late Musette Paige Davis. He retired from The City of Albany as an equipment operator after twenty five years of service. He was on the board of directors with Westside Ministries in Ashburn with which he went on mission trips to Honduras. Ronnie and his wife were both a part of the chaplain ministry at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and Palmyra Medical Centers. A faithful member of Plantation Parkway Assembly of God, Mr. Paige had a great love for children and in earlier years at other churches he was active with the bus ministry, children’s ministry and taught Sunday school. He married the love of his life at Faith Baptist Church of Albany on April 12, 1977 and they recently celebrated their thirty- six year anniversary. Ronnie’s passing is our loss, but Heaven’s gain and he will be remembered as a loving Husband, Father and Brother in the Lord. Survivors include his loving wife, Sara “Jackie” Paige; daughters, Saralyn and Laura Paige both of Albany; Brother, Reginald Paige of Donaldsonville; sisters, Connie Allen of Cairo and Elaine Nichols of Albany. The family will receive friends this evening, Friday, April 26, 2013 at Hall and Hall Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
