Ronny Haywood Banks, 67, of Albany, passed away, Thursday, November 06, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Crown Hill Mausoleum Chapel. Rev. Grady Morey will officiate with entombment to follow at Crown Hill. Born January 26, 1947 in Meigs, GA, Mr. Banks was the son of the late Norman Hayward Banks and Frances Sauls Veley. He was owner and operator of Banks Boiler Service Inc. of Albany and was always known as a hard worker. He enjoyed boating, fishing and spending time with his family. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife Dawn Crosby Banks of Albany; sons and daughtes-in-law, Gene and Rhoda Banks of Blairsville and Jimmy Banks of Albany; daughter, Heather Banks Oliver of Albany; step-daughter, Allison Wills of Americus; brothers, Norman Banks and George Banks both of Thomasville, Steve Enfinger of Albany; sister, Cherilyn Bray of New York and 5 grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the Crown Hill Chapel.
