Ruby Roney Dell

Mrs. Ruby Roney Dell, 82, of Worth County, peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at her home. 

Services honoring her life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 16, 2025, in the chapel of Hall & Hall Funeral Home. Her son-in-law, Mr. Scott Price and Rev. Johnny White will officiate. The family will visit with friends following the service at the funeral home.

Born on February 21, 1942, in Clay County, GA, Mrs. Ruby was the daughter of the late Otis Roney, Sr. and Alma Bonner Roney. She was a professional seamstress that worked for McCollum’s Cleaners of East Albany for over 40 years. She was proud to serve police officers, fireman, and countless service men and women from privates to generals of The Marine Corps Logistics Base of Albany. She was most proud of her family and was of the Baptist faith. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend she will be greatly missed. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son William Chet White; siblings, Ronnie, Inez, Roger, Jimmie, and Otis, Jr. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, William Keith White and Dianne of Leesburg, Robbin White Lamb of Worth County, and Yonnie Price and Scott of Albany; sister, Linda Phillips and Larry of Iron City, 9 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild on the way and her first husband and friend, Bill White.
