Ruth English (English) Foor

Mrs. Ruth English Foor, 80, of Albany, passed away, Monday, November 11, 2013 at her home while surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM, Wednesday, November 13, 2013 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Dr. Clifton Elmore will officiate. Born September 15, 1933 in North Carolina, Mrs. Foor was the daughter of the late Luther English and Mary Cadell English. She was a homemaker and member of The East Albany Church of God. She enjoyed working in her yards and caring for others. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-laws, Gregory and Julie McAlpin of Carrolton, Elton and Eunice McAlpin of Sacramento, CA., Scott and Fran Foor of Albany; daughters and sons-in-laws, Brenda and Ken Stack of Albany, Diana and Gus Spurlin of Byron, Elaine and Billy McAlpin of Albany and Lisa and Nathan Carter of Fitzgerald; two brothers, Gene and David; three sisters, Louise, Peggy and Carolyn; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
