Samuel M. Price

Mr. Samuel Price, 77, of Albany, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. Mr. Price will lie in state at Hall and Hall Funeral Home on Friday, January 15th, from 9:30 a.m., until 1:30 p.m. with a graveside funeral service to follow at Floral Memory Gardens at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Terry Siniard will officiate. Born May 4, 1943, in Albany, Mr. Price was the son of the late Russell and Josie Price. He worked in transportation for the rail road company for many years. More than anything, he loved God and his family and was a member of Mercedes Baptist Church in Albany. In his free time he loved to hunt and fish with his brothers and enjoyed watching western movies. A loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Linda Joleen Price; and his son, Andrew J. Price. Survivors include his two sons, Steve Price of Albany, and Anthony D. Price and his wife Pamela of Kathleen; three grandchildren, Rebekah Price, Alexis Price, and Stevy Price; sisters, Dorothy, Yvonne, and Juanita; and brothers, Daniel and Terry.
