Stanley Eugene Kromschroeder

Mr. Stanley Kromschroeder, 78, of Albany, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Sunday May 13, 2012 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Reverend Robin Chaplin will officiate with cremation to follow the funeral service. Born March 19, 1934 in So. St. Paul Minnesota, Mr. Kromschroeder was the son of the late, George Kromschroeder and the late Laura Rosalie Kohl. He worked as a truck driver for over forty-five years, was a member of the Moose Lodge and loved Nascar racing. In his free time he enjoyed tinkering with old cars and trucks and like to work in his yard. In her earlier years Stanley worked on a farm and then in later years owned Antique Tractors. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. In addition to his parents, Mr. Kromschroeder was preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Merritt; brothers, Donald Kromschroeder and George Kromschroeder and wife, Beverly and his sister, Gloria Lowe. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Kromschroeder; mother of his children, Kaye Kromschroeder of Albany; daughter, Donna Gaume of Sarasota, FL; son, Scott Kromschroeder of Tampa, FL; Sharon’s daughter Carrie (James) Dyckman of Mt. Pleasant, NC; granddaughter, Jessica (Chip) Locke of Cumming, GA; great-grandson, Parker; granddaughter, Emily Merritt of Albany; granddaughter, Megan (Jeff) Donovan of Orlando, FL; grandson, Andrew Dyckman of Mt. Pleasant, NC; sisters, Jeanette (Chuck) Reichert of Washington and Lenora Holroyd of Foley Minnesota; nephew, Billy (Kathy) Holroyd of Foley Minnesota; niece, Marge (Ed) Morrow of Foley Minnesota; sister-in-law, Eileen Kromschroeder of Sylvester; niece, Susan (Carroll) Sweat of Sylvester; great-niece, Kim Kooten of Sylvester; great-nephew, Jamie Sweat of Albany; nephew, Stephen Kromschroeder of Alabama; nephew, Donnie (Denise) Kromschroeder of Fulton, Missouri; and his beloved pets, Rocky and Rascal. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Hall Hall Funeral Home.
