Steven Randolph Sprint

Mr. Steven Randolph Sprint, 66, of Cobb, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at his home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Etheredge will officiate. Born August 24, 1951 in Bremerton, Washington, Mr. Sprint retired as Vice President of distribution and transportation of Riverside Manufacturing of Moultrie. He enjoyed boating, living on the river, reading and was a loving and devoted husband. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Sprint was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Tate Baker. Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Benita Janes Sprint; his father, Jerry Sprint of Oceanside, CA; sister, Sally (Matthew) Anderson of Sylvester; step-brothers, Steve, Kevin and Greg; sisters-in-law, Agnes Merritt and Reba Wilson; brother-in-law, Eugene Janes; nieces and nephews, Tarrin (Jason) Pakes, Sara Carswell, Nature (Jacob) Hancock, Jeffrey (Melanie) Merritt, Lisa (Gary) Smith, Todd (Yolanda) Merritt, Amy (John) Baldwin.
