Sue Jones Parker

ALBANY mdash; Sue Jones Parker, 81, of Albany and formally of Meriwether County passed away Wednesday August 19, 2009 at Palmyra Medical Center . Graveside funeral services honoring the life of Mrs. Parker will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 22, 2009 at the graveside of Meriwether Memory Gardens in Manchester , GA. Sue Jones Parker was born February 23, 1928 in Ellaville, GA to the late Henry Homer Jones and Mary Ela Womack Jones. She worked for 32 years as a LPN having retired in 1984 after serving eight years as director of nursing at Oakview Nursing Home in Waverly Hall , GA. She was a member of the Rebeccasrsquo; and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husband, Ashby Clyde ldquo;A.C.rdquo; Parker; son, William Randall Paschal; daughter, Mary Sameythia Paschal and granddaughter, Jackie Murphy Rhodes. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Donna Kyser and her husband, Howard of Albany; sister and brother-in-law, Betty DeLoach and her husband, Alvan of Reedsville; grandchildren, Sameythia (Billy) Webb, Kimberly (Robert) Gilliam all of Albany and Nellie Murphy Jordan of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Joshua Webb, Chris Webb, Joshua Kyser, Cory Webb, Colby Gilliam and Katelyn Gilliam; the Rhodes grandchildren and Jordan Grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, C.J. Webb and Caleb Webb. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. In lieu of flowers the family request that contribution be made to your local Dialysis Clinic.
