Susan Margaret Mardon

Mrs. Susan Margaret Mardon, 79, of Albany, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at her home.

Susan was born on August 16, 1944, in Saint Louis Missouri to the late Thomas Aldridge and June Bruns Aldridge. She was a proud 30-year military wife that married her Marine in Hawaii. Susan worked for Hallmark for 20 years, enjoyed gardening, and reading. She was of the Catholic faith and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her son, Michael McKinney; brothers, Tom Glassman and Craig Aldridge.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 40 years, Patrick F. Mardon; children, Brandis Luttrell-Mitchell of Savannah, Corbie Mardon of Burford, SC, and Patrick D. Mardon of Matewan WV and Jannie Benson of Albany; brother, Michael Aldridge of Phoenix, AZ; and 3 grandchildren, Harrison, Maddison, Amirra; long time family friends, John and Sue Wesley and their children, best friend, Noemi Garrido.

In accordance with the wishes of Susan the family will host a private memorial service.
