Thomas Lunsford

Thomas Robert ldquo;T.Rrdquo; Lunsford, 84, of Albany passed away Monday, April 6, 2009 at his home while surrounded by his family. Funeral Services honoring the life of Mr. Lunsford will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2009 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Rev. Dean Weaver will officiate and Bill Durham, John Evans and Virginia Gibbs will provide music. Interment will follow at Floral Memory Gardens. Mr. Lunsford was born July 15, 1924, in Seffner, Florida, son of the late Joseph Robert Lunsford and Rebecca Strickland Lunsford. He was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church, enjoyed camping and working in his yard. Mr. Lunsford served our country in the Merchant Marines and Army and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Annie Pearl Lunsford of Albany; sons, Carl Lunsford and his wife, Pam of Bainbridge and Steve Lunsford and his wife, Debbie of Albany; daughter, Sherry Daniel and her husband, Steffon of Albany; sister, Jeanitha Weaver and her husband, Rev. Dean Weaver of Anderson, S.C; brother, Cecil Lunsford and his wife, Weldon of Donalsonville; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
