Violet Mckibben

Mrs. Violet McKibben, 59, of Sylvester, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, February 11, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 14, 2019, in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Eron White officiating. Following the service, Mrs. McKibben will be laid to rest in the Riverside Cemetery. Born April 27, 1959 in Albany, GA, Mrs. McKibben was the daughter of the late Leroy and Shirley Ann Watson. She loved the Lord, going to church when able, and reading her bible. In her free time she enjoyed knitting and was known as a wonderful embroiderer. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Andy Watson. Survivors include her beloved husband, Richard McKibben; step-son, Josh McKibben (Jessica); four grandchildren; sister, Carol Watson Wolfe; several brother and sister in-law’s and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
