Wallace Benjamin Beck Jr.

Mr. Wallace Benjamin “Ben” Beck, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Pheobe Putney Memorial Hospital. 

Graveside funeral services honoring his life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Riverside Cemetery with Rev. Gerry Dorre officiating.

Mr. Beck was born in North Carolina on May 28, 1959, to the late Wallace B. Beck Sr. & Ella Frances Beck. Ben was a retired nurse, having worked at Palmyra Park Hospital in Albany for many years where he provided devoted care to his patients. Mr. Beck was an avid Disney fan. He lovingly and willfully cared for his mother after his father’s death. Ben loved gospel music and was a faithful member of Mercedes Baptist Church and attended regularly as long as his health permitted.

He is survived by many loving friends and especially his good friend Vicky Willis.
