Wanda Carr

Mrs. Wanda Webb Carr, 65, of Carrollton and formerly of Albany, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2010 in Carrollton. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M.,nbsp;Sunday, May 30, 2010 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Reverend Jesse Hathaway will officiate with interment to follow at Wrights Chapel Cemetery in Worth County. Born on December 19, 1944 in Doerun, GA, Mrs. Carr was the daughter of Warren Patrick Price, Sr. and Grace Alda Tomberlin Price. She worked for many years with Coats and Clark, enjoyed playing bingo, working word puzzles and was avid at crocheting. Mrs. Carr had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing. She loved her family and will be missed by all those who loved her. Mrs. Carr was preceded in death by her father, Warren Patrick Price; four children, Lewis Webb, Wiley Rowe, Enola Gay McLendon and Teresa Martin. Survivors include her husband, Mike Carr of Carrollton; a son, Gene Webb of Albany; brothers, Tommy Price and wife, Diane of Albany, R.W. Price and wife, Patsy of Albany; sisters, Glynda Thornton and husband, Roy of Hoboken, GA, Brenda Jo Orsquo;Berry and husband, Ronnie of Waycross, GA, Meg Harrison and husband, Ed of Albany and Gayle Bowen and husband, David of Prattville, AL; 8 grandchildren, Mandy, Anna, B.J., Anthony, Becky, Peyton, Christopher and Joshua; and 13 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
