Wanda Gail Shattles

Mrs. Wanda Gail Shattles, 65, of Albany, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at her home. A celebration of life service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, May 17, 2018 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service. Born August 6, 1952 in Albany, Mrs. Shattles was the daughter of the late James Virgil Hatcher and Geraldine Smith Adams. She enjoyed making ceramics, fishing and working in her yard. Mrs. Shattles worked as a waitress at Western Sizzlin that is now BJ’s II in East Albany. She loved her family and enjoyed all her friends that she made through the years. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shattles was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Shattles and step-father, Walter D. Adams. Survivors include her children, Andy Saunders of Worth County, Shane Sullivan of Albany, Angie Rich of Stevenson, AL, Ricky Sullivan (Stephanie) of Stevenson, AL and Michael Sullivan of Albany; sisters, Carolyn McDonald (Clifton), Shirley Causey (James), Peggy Noles and James V. Hatcher, Jr. (Belinda); five grandchildren, Brittany, Dylan, Arheaya, Elizabeth and Rich and 1 great-granddaughter, Addy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Phoebe Hospice, 320 Foundation Lane Albany, GA 31707. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.hallandhallfuneralhome.com.
