Wanda Sue (Bonine) Lee

July 31, 1941 — April 13, 2013

Mrs. Wanda Sue Lee, 71, of Albany, passed away, Saturday April 13, 2013 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 24, 2013 in the Chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Reverend Ralph Horne will officiate with interment to follow in the Leesburg Cemetery. Born July 31, 1941 in Chattanooga, TN. Mrs. Lee was the daughter of the late James Bonine and the late Elander Ann Brison Long. She was a homemaker and very proud to be full blooded Cherokee Indian. She enjoyed playing cards, fishing and camping with her family. She was of the Church of God faith. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her son, Tody Eugene Achorn; brothers, Richard Bonine, and Hobart Bonine and sister, Helen Bonine. Survivors include her sons, James D. Achorn and Leonard Anderson; daughter, Susie and Buddy Layton; 12 grandchildren including, Misty Hall, Chrystal Long, Heather Layton, Kelly Haight, Gary Lee, Austin Achorn and James Achorn, Jr.; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jane Gable and step-sister, Ann Long. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
